Dr. Hartwig Schmidt-Hollburg has been an attorney since 1993 and a partner with the firm since 1999. His work focuses on intellectual property rights and information technology (IP/IT), competition law and distribution. Hartwig primarily works for companies in the media, music, software, fashion, furniture, food and pharmaceutical industry. He advises and represents clients on all matters pertaining to patents, designs, copyrights, trade marks and trade names. Hartwig is regularly active on behalf of well-known brand manufacturers in the fight against product piracy. In addition, he advises and represents leading European manufacturers in patent and antitrust disputes with international patent pools. Beyond that, Hartwig assists clients in numerous industries in setting up complex licensing and distribution systems as well as in software development and other IT projects.
